All auditions at Old Church Theater are open to all who are interested. We welcome everyone, no matter their level of (in)experience. You do not have to be familiar with the script nor do you have to have a monologue prepared. Come and join us!

Let us transport you to medieval England in the year 1255. We invite you to observe the issues youth faced at that time – every bit as relevant today – pressure to perform, being misunderstood, prejudice, feelings of love, loss, and being awkward, poverty and wealth, and gender roles.

Baggage

Comedy
Two difficult, single people, Phyllis and Bradley, both trying to heal from their respective disappointing relationships, get their luggage mixed up at the airport. After a very disagreeable first encounter, they decide to help each other get over their heartaches through a forced friendship. See them discover that, while they may be too difficult for everyone else in the world, they are perfect for each other.

A Visit from St. Nicholas

Comedy/Holiday
On Christmas Eve, 1822, Clement Clarke More’s house is not as quiet as a mouse. His children await the arrival of St. Nicholas. Father has written a poem for them, but as a distinguished professor, he fears that knowledge being made known. So, he burns the poem. Heartbroken, the children unite to save it through a riotous enactment, convincing their father that it should be shared with children everywhere.
